The Zrubek Sisters

I was excited when Michele asked me to capture her daughters and their sisterly love that they hold for one another. The girls were not too thrilled with having a crazy lady with a camera in their face, so the session ran short but the moments were not lost.

We tried the old trick of "look, there's a _________" and I was able to catch the sense of wonder in Little S's eyes.

Sweet sisterly love!

And no matter where I was, Big S always made sure she had her eye on the camera lady!

I love how she would pick up sticks and walk with them. Such innocence.

Little S points out a bird to mama, who of course tells Little S it's the most beautiful bird she's ever seen!

I can't wait to spend some more time with the Zrubek Sisters. I hope you enjoyed the photos Mommy and Daddy :)

The Boettcher Trio

A couple of weeks ago I was thrilled to have the chance to photograph the beautiful Boettcher Family. Their son is just a bundle of energy who had his mind on anything but the crazy lady with a camera in his face. He was more interested in whom of the three adults surrounding him would roll his favorite soccer ball back to him.

Needless to say, he won this round! I was able to capture some photos of the gorgeous trio but we will be meeting again! This time I will be coming with bribes (aka snacks) and a few other tricks up my sleeve.

The Hart Family

I was thrilled when my very dear friends James and Jessaca Hart volunteered to have their first set of family photos done by me. They are the epitome of what a marriage should entail, what we all strive to have, and what comes natural to those that are lucky enough to find our soul mates.

Not only are they an absolutely gorgeous couple...

...but they are one of the sweetest and in-love couples that I know. They were a fabulous couple to work with and I was able to catch them mid-dancing while I was setting up my gear.

Their laughter is infectious and you can't help but smile when you see the pure happiness they share with each other.

Their sincere and vulnerable love is embraced with an ease of comfort between them.

And they will be the couple that goes through life holding each other up when times get hard and holding on even tighter when things are flowing ever so sweetly. I love you guys and I hope you enjoy the photos!

Colton {4 Days New}

I had the privilege to photograph Lindsey and Aaron Dausel's newest addition to their family. Colton Aaron Dausel joined the world on Thursday May 5, 2011 at 2:32pm. He was a healthy 7lbs 11oz and 20" long. What a perfect recipe for the perfect baby brother for one Miss Aubrey!

It was such an honor to spend the morning with the Dausel Family. They welcomed me into their home as if I were family and I was immediately at ease! Watching the dynamics of how Mom and Dad worked together not only as parents, but as best friends that loved their new little bundle of joy without ever losing the glimmer in their eyes for their first born was truly heart warming. They had a relaxed and easy manner about themselves as if having two children were as easy as pie.

Thank you Lindsey and Aaron for welcoming me into a slice of your world. Congratulations on the birth of your first born son! Enjoy the photos! I look forward to capturing the family together this summer!

Sweet Siblings

I was honored to have the opportunity to photograph the children of Keith-Ann and Nick. Saywer recently became a big sister to little brother Miles, who was born on March 15th. The two of them are just too sweet for words. Sawyer was an absolute doll and such a sweetheart and little Miles was the perfect baby for my first newborn shoot. My photos don't come close to doing them justice, but here they are in all their adorableness.
